| Every
year we continue to see the unbelievable grace and generosity
of our staff shine through. Even in these tough economic times,
they truly went above and beyond once again. Altogether, the
efforts of our benevolent staff raised almost $16,000 for charity!
Maricopa
County Combined Charitable Campaign (CCC): Not only
did we nearly double our staff participation from 34 percent
in 2009 to 67.5 percent in 2010 but payroll deductions increased
from $8,872.94 to $10, 869.24. In addition we raised over $1,100
for the 2010 Employee's Assisting and Supporting Employee's
(EASE) program.
Homeward
Bound Family: We donated 27 wrapped items to our adopted
Homeward Bound Family, in addition to used and new furniture,
household appliances, an Xbox 360 with games, and $500 in gift
cards. Total estimated donations to Homeward Bound were over
$2,700!
Assessor
Families Needing Assistance (AFNA): We also held several
in-house fundraisers to assist our own Assessor families in
need. These events raised almost $1,300 for AFNA.
