The Maricopa County Assessor's GIS Mapping Department has changed its map identification system. The new maps have been changed to include a map identification number that corresponds to the township, range, section, quarter section, and quarter quarter section. Maps will be identified as follows:
Township & Range - Section - Quarter Section - Quarter Quarter

EXAMPLE 1:
807-18-04-00
807 -- Township 3 North, Range 4 East (See Grid Map for Reference)
18 -- Section 18
04 -- The SouthEast Quarter
00 -- There are no separate quarter quarter maps
This area is Paradise Valley Mall.
Under the old classification, this would be Book 167, Maps 25, 26 & 32.
The map scale is 1" = 200'

EXAMPLE 2:
854-23-01-02
854 -- Township 1 North, Range 6 East (See Grid Map for Reference)
23 -- Section 23
01 -- The NorthEast Quarter
02 -- The NorthWest Quarter Quarter
This area is Dreamland Villa Golf Club in Mesa.
Under the old classification, this would be Book 141, Map 49, Sheet 1
The map scale is 1" = 100'
