After less than a year of planning and construction, the Santa Fe Freight Depot renovations are complete and Assessor staff began moving in on Friday, March 25, 2011!

Assessor, Keith Russell, and his Chief Deputy, Tim Boncoskey, gave the Santa Fe staff a few days to settle in and then held a small Welcome Reception on March 29, 2011.

While this project was a massive undertaking, the finished result is magnificent! The building is now state of the art but we stayed true to the original art deco phase of the 1920's and we incorporated authentic Santa Fe Train artifacts on loan from the Arizona Railroad Museum as part of the decor.
